Material:
2x4, 2x2 and 1x3 lumber (pine), 3 inch and 2 inch exterior screws, oil based sealer (semi-transparent)
Tools used:
circular saw, hand saw, power driller, sanding paper, carpenter's combination square, paint brush
Lessons learned:
Dimension/scale is critical in furniture making. The width is 2 inch too large, and the whole proportion is thrown way off. Next time need to make the shape more interesting.
